Sain had begun smiling. He began laughing a little. He crouched down, also. His eyes held humor and intrest in them now. This was no more than a game to him. "If I'm a kit, then what are you? A newborn?" he retorted as he began to circle the white and black cat. He snarled a bit, but then began to smile again. "This is fun, don't you think the same?" he asked, as his tail lashed from side to side. He stepped on a few twigs, but didn't care at this point who heard him.
He had a slight limp, from his shoulder, but ignored it. He barely got closer to the tigress with every step.

The Tigress let out a low growl. The Lion laughed and this startled Alice a little. First he was aiming to kill her now he is filled with humor. What was with this Lion? "No, I am true Wild Cat. I hut for my own kill and don't ask from others" Alice spat and watched as the Lion circled her like she had done before. "Oooh. Now you a copy cat" She chuckled. The cold icy air ran through her coat again and she embraced it. She bared her teeth and ran towards the Lion. When she pounced she tried to tackle the Lion and had her teeth sinking into the Lion's neck. Her body was facing away from the Lions large jaws so if he tried to bit her, he had to turn his head. That would just cause more pain in his neck. "Oh this is very fun" Alice murmered into the Lions warm neck. She jumped back and went into a defensive position again. The throbbing in Alice's back and shoulder made her wince in pain as her blood started to spread around the snow

Sain roared in pain. It hurt badly and blood came out, but not enough to kill him. His mane had probably gotten in the way. He looked at the Tigress and began to smile again. "Very nice," he growled. "Do you know what happens to cats that just get in my way?" he asked. "They don't make it out with out plenty of scars and blood pouring out," he snarled, running straight for the tigress. He reared up onto his hind paws and slammed down onto her shoudlers. He smirked, and looked at her wound he had given her earlier. He pushed off of her and backed away. He sat down.
"What am I doing?" he asked himself. He had never stole meat from another cat before, so why now? Yeah, he was hungery, but he should act more like a lion than a house kit. He sighed and shook his head. "You know what? I'm sorry, I guess the winter got to me and so did my hunger. Keep the buck, I'll catch something of my own," he added, turning. He bounded about a hundred yards away and suddenly, he saw a fox. He didn't even bother crouching, knowing he wouldn't blend in anyways. He just leaped at it, missing, but chased it down, finally catching it. He picked it up and headed back towards the Tigress. He stopped a few yards away, now a bit awkward and laid down as he began to eat.

Alice growled trying to hold back my loud screech in pain. The black and white cat layed on the ground for a moment, trying to collect herself. She felt the cold snow become warm with her blood. Her vision started to blur a little as her eyes started to go weak. She tried as hard as possible to keep them open. She wasn't going to die. Not to this Lion. Her breathing was heavy but she tried to keep it level. As the Lion started to talk she growled at his comments. When he sat down in front of her she tried to get up. Her shoulder was filled with pain. The slightest movement would probably shatter her.
I'm not going to give up, she thought, I'm not going to die. To her amazement the Lion had apologized and said he would catch his own kill. "Now you realize it" She muttered under her breath. After a few moments of lying in the snow she got up slowly. The pain still hurt but Alice would survive. "You know what? Take the buck. I have no need of it anymore. I can't take anything else" Her eyes narrowed as she said the last sentence. She limped over to the buck and nosed it over to the Lion. She laid back down near the buck and tried to regain herself "The names Alice, by the way" She added.

Sain finished te fox and crawled closer towards the buck and Alice. He laid down next to her. "It's nice to meet you," He said. He looked at her wounds. He shivered slightly at the sight of them. "I'm sorry about the fight. I guess that's what happens when you're trying to survive," he said. He sniffed the one on her shoulder. He swiped his tongue over it, not wanting it to get infected. He knew he probably shouldn't've since they had just been fighting, but it's also part of the apology.

Once the cat felt the lions tounge against her fur, she flintched a little. "Its totally fine" Alice said trying to look like she wasn't in pain. "Its how life goes by. We all get hurt once in a while" She said, not looking at the Lion. "Thanks" She whispered as she pushed closed to Sain, trying to keep warm. All the fighting had taken so much out of Alice, she couldn't stay warm herself. "And don't worry about the fighting, I'll survive" Alice added, smirking at her comment

Sain nodded. He blinked. "What pack are you in?" he asked. He totally forgot about the smaller cat and the fight was now a memory. He leaned on the tigress, keeping both of them warm. He didn't know what to do at a time like this. They were both big cats with out a pack in the middle of winter. None of them had a family either. The only thing that was good was that they had each other for company and a buck for food. He wandered if they will ever find the traitors. They've been there so long and yet no -lat has come running, because of noise.

Ruko, when the fighting had gotten fierce, had sped up a nearby tree, her strong legs propelling her up. She had chosen a branch that had a good view of the fighting, but was high enough for the larger cats to not be able to reach her. Clinging tightly to the branch, she watched as the fighting got worse, and then... stopped.
Watching the two huge cats reconcile with her emerald eyes, Ruko realized she could probably get down now, and get away, before they remembered her. Climbing slowly down, so they wouldn't notice or hear her, she moved noiselessly to the ground. Giving herself a good shake, she looked back at the cats for a minute. They were lying next to each other, and they didn't look like they remembered her. Good.
As Ruko turned to leave, a thought occured to her. What if one of them was a Traitor? They couldn't both be, as they obviously didn't know each other, but one of them could be! At the very least, they could know where she could find them, or have seen Wage. She looked back at the large cats. They didn't seem as threatening now, except, well, their size. Turning around, she took a deep breath.

Alice's ears twitched "Pack? Well," She didn't know how to say this. She wasn't necessarily in a pack so to say. Mainly a "Rouge" as many called her. "Well, I'm in the Traitors" the Tigress said. "Kind of" She added in a soft tiny whisper. Suddenly the same scent of the small cat swept over her again. She decided to ignore the small creature and closed her eyes. "So what about you? What pack are you in?" She asked. "Don't think you are the only one who gets to ask questions" She hissed.

Ruko was too far away to hear the words the large cats were saying to each other, and strained to overhear. The only word she caught was "Traitors". Her emerald eyes widened. Was she right? C-Could one of them be a Traitor? If so, maybe they'd let her join...
But, how should she talk to them? Could she just go up and ask them that? They were the first cats she had ever met, aside from her brother... Was there some form of etiquette her brother had never taught her? Fretting worriedly, she kneaded her paws together.
Well... This wasn't getting her anywhere. If she asked politely, she doubted they'd rip her to shreds. Maybe. Taking another deep breath, she decided to go for it.
Walking carefully toward the two large cats, she phrased her question. "Excuse me, but are either of you part of the Traitors pack?" It was polite, and straight to the point. And, on the other side, if they got mad at her, she was still close enough to the tree to bolt before they could catch her. Ears flattened against her small head nervously, she stopped, and waited for their answer.

"I'm heading for the Traitors," Sain answered. He then heard pawsteps and turned his head. He saw a smaller cat and listened to her. "No, but that's who I'm trying to find," he repeated himself. He flicked his tail, inviting the smaller feline to join them. He decided to atleast try to be nice to others.

Icy blue eyes opened stared at the small cat. Alice lifted up her head. "I guess you could say that" She shrugged and started to lick her paw. The tigress turned back to Sain. "So you have never met one before?" She asked, her voice a little shocked. She had met some a little while back in the forest. Both were wolves but still were Traitors.

"Nope, never," Sain said looking at the tigress. "I've met plenty of Lashia, though. They were nice, but not my favorite cats to hang out with," he replied as he yawned. He was getting tired, but didn't want to fall asleep. He tried to keep his eyes open, but the warmth was coming over him. He laid his head down on his paws and closed his eyes.

Ruko hesitated, still unsure whether she should join them or not, but at the white tiger's answer, she padded over. Standing awkwardly next to the huge tiger, because the lion seemed ready to fall asleep, Ruko blinked her emerald eyes. "So you're a Traitor?" She wasn't anything like she had imagined. The tiger seemed a little... violent. Ruko had imagined that the Traitors would be peace-loving, and would talk things out, instead of fight. If not, why had they disbanded from the others? The Lashia and the Canitao fought, and that's why the Traitors had disbanded. If there were cats like the tiger in the Traitors, how were they so different than the other packs? Besides the fact that, of course, that there are both wolves and cats in the Traitors. But... Wage had always said that the Traitors were different. Maybe this violent tiger is one of a kind.
