The Pain Of The Mind...
.:Carefully the large white tiger brought herself to a sudden halt, her icy blue eyes narrowed in concentration. It took her a moment to understand where she was, and what she was doing but it came back to her little shifts. Sometimes she reasoned in her head it was good to be alone, and other times it would be good to be with someone. At the moment however Byakko had no interest in sharing her company with anyone. It was time in her opinion to rest alone and watch the stars, remember her family as they had once been. With a soft sigh the she-cat lay herself down with a small thump. Her paws stretched out beneath her and she let her taut muscles relax. It wasn't ever hard for someone such as Byakko to find some alone time, mostly because she was simply quiet. More of a keep to yourself kind of cat rather than be with a large group. At the moment she definetely wanted to be by herself, with nobody around her. It was her time to just let herself cry.
"I'm so pathetic," She growled harshly to herself. Tears sprang to her icy orbs and blurred her vision. Giving the world around her a misty look, causing Byakko to let out another angry growl. Maybe her father was right, being to gentle sometimes made her life so much harder. Byakko it seemed was unable to face anything, not even her own memories. I should have taken his advice a long time ago, let myself be what he wanted me to be. I'm so sorry Anjin, I'm sorry that I couldn't protect you. A soft moan escaped her open maw and she could no longer hold the rest of her tears back. With a sob wracking her body she let the tears fall, streaking down her muzzle. Turning it a sort of gray colour as she burried her face in her own paws. She was suddenly more than glad that she was alone, and that nobody else had followed her. That would make her life so much harder, explaining to whomever came about what had happened to her. She wasn't ready to tell others about her horrible failure with her family. I can't do anything right.
