<<"Shut up just shut up!!!" He growled angrilly. He looked up at the still cherping birds perched on the trees. Jumping in the air with a roar he batted a few scaring them off. "So freaking annoying." He mumbled looking to the tree. He was about to climb it when he heared a cat approaching. Growling he turned to face the blazing eyes of a she-cat taking in her scent he sighed. "What do you want Raclett?" He growled. He spoke her name in disgust. He hated her guts. She was a paranoid she-cat who beleived the earth was alive. She was just a stupid member of his mothers pack. Not wanting to waste his time he turned to walk away letting his tail flick across her face. He was surprised when he heard a growl. "Just because your mother remains dominant doesnt mean I wont take my chances on getting banished for clawing your fur off. Learn fast boy you wont last any longer then all the dead trees you have killed with your careless clawing." Sighing he just ignored her and walked off. Then he heard her growl again. Turning he glared at her. "Yeah and just because your older and stronger doesnt mean im scared of fighting you." He growled back. Then he met her gaze it was cold with hatred. He just showed his teeth and then bounded away into the grass. << Two days later the crazy old bat was discovered next to a tree clawed to death small specks of white fur covered her pelt and the herds she had been mending the tree with. No one came forward to say it had been Reese atleast not yet. He knew though some held his deepest secret. He could kill them too and he would if it were needed. His claws would now shappen themselfs on any tree he liked his teeth would kill a mouse and throw it into the river. For all he cared they could all hate him, he would do the exact opposite of all she had ever tryed to teach him. The earth wasnt alive it was nonsence. So now he proudly danced through the trees clawing them up like war dummies. He would deal with who ever threatened his ego.

Daciana was having trouble that morning; she had tried to chase a small bird. Normally she would have waited for one of her brothers to share something, but today they were in a particularly foul mood. Desperately she had tried to coax them into letting her eat even a small ration but to no avail. Sulking around the cave she laid down waiting for their mother to return, but that would not be for a long time. It was here that she first saw the red little bird. He had beady black eyes that were sizing it up, and although she did not want to hurt it, her stomach was in a deep protest. "I'm awfully sorry about this" she replied, but felt foolish speaking the feathered creature. Daciana fell into stance that her mother had showed her, she was ready to pounce.
Instinct naturally kicked in and she realized that it wasn't so bad after all. "I just can't think of it as a bad thing." Then with a small cub-like leap, she pounced on it. "Ah Ha! I did it!" But after slowly lifting up her paws she found that the bird was not in sight. "What? But I know I just caught it!" She said now searching the ground for bird remains. A small chirp alerted her to look up, and there sitting up on the branch was her meal. Turning its head to the side it made another loud chirp as if challenging Daciana. "Alright I see how it is." She chased the bird around jumping over sticks and rocks, and became even farther away from the pack. She felt as though she were about to give up when it finally perched his small body on a log. Daciana resumed her position once more, "Now I have you this time." And with a leap she jumped up on the log but only managed to grab hold of the rounded edge.
Daciana let out a small shriek as she tried to dig her claws into the bark, but only found herself sliding down back on the dirt. The bird had not moved an inch and looked down mocking her. "Hey no fair!" Daciana said out loud. Instead she paced the ground floor looking up at the bird occasionally calling it to come down, but it remained up on the large log. "You just wait until my brothers come after you!" But she knew that she could never tell them. This had only been a game that had left her in the feeling of starvation. "Okay you win. I'm not going to eat you I promise." Had only her brothers been here, they surely would have laughed and teased her. The small red bird flew down and landed lightly on top of her head. "I'll call you Chirp! My name's Daciana." Daciana was glad that she had made a new friend.

There was something unbearably sweet with the way he looked at you -- as if there was no one in the world he saw but you, as if, even when you closed your eyes and drifted off to sleep he would be there, a strength, a protection against your nightmares. Some called it weak, others called it kindness, but it was something far more deeper than that: it was simple compassion. It defined him, made him ache with a tenderness when he looked at his sister, his hopelessly romantic sister, it was there in the way he stared with his dark green eyes, like gems cut right from the earth, at his brother, bully, on the path of insanity, and accepted him for who he was -- forgave him for the hurts and the pain. It was also there in the way he saw entirely too much when he rubbed his multi-hued flank against his mother's leg and saw her gaze when it shifted to other creatures.
Fathers were important, but to him, to Draven the cautious, Draven the ingenious, there was an insightfulness that would blow away your mind if you knew. He learned to see, and to hear when no words were spoken, to feel it on the very breath of your lips. Did he care for empowerment? Well he was male and prone toward those darker, dirtier emotions, but he was a creature of the soul, who saw behind the pockmarked masks and into your eyes to watch the shadows dancing there.
He listened, when you did not need him to listen, or were afraid that by listening the words would slip out of your mind and skip away from you. He was secrets, his mind a large treasure box of guilty pleasures he did not speak of. He saw more than he should, but it was alright because he looked at you as if you were strong enough to get through this. It was his strength, this silent approval, this quiet, immovability. He was a mountain, implaceable, powerful, but it was in actions in which he spoke, a silent communion that seemed far more potent than words.
In words he stumbled, when faced with many eyes, he could not move. Some called him fearful, cowardly, -- shy. But it was not to these that he was made. Not one to speak for fear of stumbling over his words, instead he holds you steady even when you do not realize you are falling.
So is it any wonder that when his mother padded out of the den, her eyes haunted by shadows of a past he could not fathom, but felt in his bones, he did not follow her? He did not follow, but with his eyes, and with his heart he watched her until her white, thin tail disappeared from sight and he, darling little child, remained where he was. When his siblings shifted over in sleep, he only moved closer, offering warmth where his mother's absence called it in. Only when they rolled over in sleep, content in their dreams, did he hop over them, paws silent, whispering along the ground as his tail moved, swished with thought; one ear flicked down, but his eyes, oh his eyes! They fairly glowed in the moon-touched night, reflecting their depths with a softness that only further cemented every one's thoughts of a frail child, a weak cubling.
Little did they know how strong he truly was. When others fell, he stood up, when others wept, he dried their tears and took their sorrow as his own. His soul writhed in the darkness, a bright light that could not be extinguished. He moved over the rocks, his little body oddly sure-footed in the darkness though shadows pooled around his pads, and obscured his features. Of his mother, he never did see, but he tried -- tried so hard his body shivered under the cold of oncoming winter.
When morning came, it touched upon his fur curled up among the leaves, his body wrapped around iself to keep the bitter cold from infecting him. He trembled, but hid it well when he tirelessly leapt onto the rocks of their den and went to his brother and sister, cuddling against their warmth even when they batted him away.
word count;; 718 tags;; --- OOC;; The way I see rping him is that he's very spiritual, very caring, tender, etc etc, but he's not so good with actually talking to others. When you make him speak, or he's with people he doesn't know, he tends to stutter a little bit, to skip words and get nervous.
