These are possible ranges of heights and weights for the allowed species; your character must fall within the range for their species in order to be accepted. We understand that these ranges may not be 100% accurate, as varying sources provide different information, but for the sake of keeping things fair, all characters must abide by these ranges. If you strongly disagree with any range, kindly handle the matter over private message with Trench (Shatan), rather than posting about it here.
Keep in mind that this list is always subject to change, and will likely never be considered complete. If you do not see the species you wish to create, simple PM Shatan about it and, if it is an acceptable species, it will be added to the list. Also, because there are far too many dog breeds to list them all, we will instead be adding them as characters are created. All dog breeds are, however, allowed, and you do not need to ask to create one, whether it is on the list or not. However, this does not exempt you from keeping realistic, so please check for average sizes, or, if you’d like, ask Shatan to check for you.
Also, please note that the species “Panther” does not appear anywhere on this list, nor will it ever appear on this list. Panther is a generic term used to describe all large cats (namely the tiger, lion, jaguar, and leopard) and black panthers do not exist as an individual species. Black panthers are jaguars or leopards (and, to a lesser extent, some other cat species) which express the melanistic gene mutation which turns their fur black. For the sake of making sure your character fits the correct size, specify which species it is, do not say “black panther”.
