The Eternal Heresy
The course of history was changed forever...
When the massive ship, Feudscape teleported itself and humankind across the universe to the CotU galaxy. At first, they were shunned and ignored. Then old relations between the humans resurfaced and conflict broke out. When the Feudscape displayed incredible power which drew the attention of a race of omnipotent beings known as the Commen, however, they were welcomed with open arms and became a major power within the galaxy.
The major powers of the galaxy eventually formed into a single alliance known as the Covenant of Allied Powers to fight the Red Star Federation which had attacked the Feudscape. After a two hundred year war that ended in TerranCorp, the corporation which funded the Red Star Federation, being split into several smaller corporations, peace fell over the galaxy for six hundred years.
Unbeknownst to the galaxy, heresy was brewing within the church of the Commen. A man named Huberra Sadow gathered a group of followers whom believed he was the rightful person to take Nether's (the goddess of intelligence and creator of the universe) place. But the church discovered of these things and Sadow was killed, leaving his grandson to run the heresy. The heretics rose up against the church and their capital planet of Citadael was overrun and conquered by Sadow's forces.
As time passed, the heretics, deeming themselves the Arcanists and their enemies in the church the Altruists, recruited several smaller governments and created the Joesheivan Alliance, creating a potent and dangerous military force which quickly moved across the 1-3 quadrant, conquering system after system, defeating the ill-equipped and ill-prepared Covenant whom posessed technology nowhere close to that of the Alliance.
Seeing that the Alliance and Arcanists would soon conquer the galaxy without having the technology to stop them, the church released some of its technology to the Covenant, the same technology the Alliance had acquired during their conquer of Citadael. They adapted the technology to their weapons and began manufacturing weapons fielding the potent and incredibly powerful energy known as E'lan, giving the Covenant a fighting chance.
Come join the war that has defined the course of history for humankind in ways unimaginable. Will you fight alongside the Alliance or join the ranks of the Arcanists? Maybe you want to help save the galaxy and join the Covenant or infinitely omnipotent Altruists? Choose your side. It is your destiny, your future... your world.
